ECOM disposable CDUV flow cells with barbed connections are designed for analyzing and monitoring the absorbance and conductivity of liquids flowing through the cell; UV light is transmitted to and from the cell via optical cables with SMA 905 connectors from separate UV detector.
They were developed as a cost-effective solution for applications requiring the elimination of cross-contamination between different separation processes, or where cleaning and reusing cells is not feasible. The user can easily swap the cell in the holder after one or several uses.
Surface quality: The internal flow channel features a high-quality surface finish. The internal surface roughness is less than Ra 0.4, meeting requirements for various applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Materials in contact with the liquid include PEEK MT, 316L stainless steel, and a sapphire window.
Connections: ECOM disposable CDUV cells are designed for use with chromatography systems featuring 3/8″, ¼″, and ½″ hose connections. The signal from the electrodes and the temperature sensor is transmitted via a three-core cable to a printed circuit board that evaluates conductivity.
The ECOM CDUVSH00 holder (Holder for single-use Flow cell) is required to connect the flow cell. This holder is equipped with lenses that focus light into the flow cell; the light is delivered via fiber optics with SMA 905 connectors. (Ordered separately)
The Beatrix board is used to process the conductivity and temperature signal from the cell electrodes.
